GHK-Cu
What your skin made better at twenty.
50 mg

Your body makes this peptide itself, and it makes less of it with the years. That single observation is what started the research: first around skin and collagen, then around hair.
- Hair — density and growth.
- Skin — collagen and the look of the skin.

The question you are asking yourself
Does it actually work, or is it one more product?
We promise no result. What we can show is what has been published, at what level of evidence, and what those studies do not say. It is all on this page, limits included.
Why this reference?
The body makes it on its own, and makes less of it as the years pass. That single observation is what made it worth studying: first around skin and collagen, where the work is most abundant, then around hair and hair density.
What you should know
Scientific detail
What it is
GHK-Cu is a complex between a tripeptide — glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine — and a copper ion. The GHK tripeptide occurs naturally in human plasma, where its concentration falls with age.
Why it is studied
It is studied because it binds copper with high affinity, and because this complex alters, in cell models, the expression of genes involved in extracellular matrix remodelling.
Described mechanism
Proposed mechanism: the complex acts as a copper carrier into cells and modulates the activity of transcription factors. The work describes an influence on collagen synthesis and on matrix metalloproteinases. This mechanism is described in vitro; its reach in humans in vivo is a separate question.

Human data
GHK-Cu has long been used in topical cosmetics, a field in which human work exists on skin endpoints. On the hair side, a study published in Annals of Dermatology in 2016 compared, in men with androgenetic alopecia, a complex applied to the scalp against placebo: hair count rose by 71.5 at six months in the most favourable group, against 9.6 on placebo, with no adverse events reported. ONE LIMITATION DECIDES HOW THIS STUDY READS: the product tested combines two substances — 5-aminolevulinic acid and the GHK peptide — so the observed effect cannot be attributed to GHK alone. This work concerns local application; it says nothing about any other route and is not a therapeutic evaluation.
Preclinical data
The bulk of the mechanism rests on cell culture and animal models.
What the data does not say
The distinction between skin application and other routes is decisive and often erased in commercial presentations. Copper is not innocuous: it is a metal whose accumulation carries its own toxicity. Nothing presented here supports a conclusion of benefit outside the cutaneous setting studied.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order GHK-Cu today?
No. This reference is not offered for sale: its commercial framework is not settled. No purchase button is shown until it is.
Does GHK-Cu hold a marketing authorisation?
No. This reference holds no marketing authorisation as a medicinal product and is approved by no authority for human use. A publication or a clinical trial never amounts to approval.
What analyses are available?
The certificate of analysis is supplied with the batch delivered. No batch number or purity figure is published until the real certificate has been entered: we do not display illustrative values.
How is this reference stored?
The storage requirement is not yet on file: the supplier data sheet has not reached us. We would rather say so than assume.
Is it compatible with the NORYVA injector pen?
Compatibility is not confirmed for this reference. Until the manufacturer confirms it, we do not claim it.
What does the available data actually show?
The distinction between skin application and other routes is decisive and often erased in commercial presentations. Copper is not innocuous: it is a metal whose accumulation carries its own toxicity. Nothing presented here supports a conclusion of benefit outside the cutaneous setting studied.
